The Cap of Missile Protection is an artifact which protects its wearer from mundane projectiles. It appears in Ultima Underworld II.

Description

The Cap of Missile Protection could be found amongst the treasures of the dire reaper which made its home amongst the lowest reaches of the Pits of Carnage. Any who donned this magical cap would find that it granted its wearer immunity to all missile weapons like the spell Missile Protection. A set of Gauntlets of Missile Protection may also be found in Ultima Underworld II.

Trivia

• Using this cap against Dorstag in battle mostly neuters him, as his crossbow attacks become harmless. Indeed, one can even farm him for bolts, which otherwise are difficult to acquire.
