Britannia Hostel is an inn in the basement of Castle Britannia which appears only in the Nintendo-port of Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
The Castle Britannia Hostel served as a meeting place for the various members of the Stranger's party, as the hero could only journey through the realm with three companions at a time. Here, members of the company who were not currently traveling with the hero could await the Stranger's call.
In addition to providing lodging for the various adventurers which joined the Stranger's quest toward Avatarhood, the Hostel offered healing services, that wounded or slain members of the party might be tended to as the company regrouped.
