The surrogate mother of Lady Barbara, Agatha was once a farmer from one of cottages near the edge of Hawksnest estate. When her own son was stillborn, Agatha was brought to nurse, and eventually raise, Lady Barbara after her own mother died in childbird.
Agatha trained the household servants, and she is head of the house staff.
